Miguel is originally from Phoenix, AZ. He graduated with a degree in Film Studies from Claremont McKenna College. He has made several shorts as well as multiple seasons of the sci-fi web series, Chutes, which was recognized for outstanding writing at the LA WebFest. His short film "Casey" was nominated for an Imagen Award. "Monsoon" is his debut feature film.
