When Eddie lands his first teaching gig at an urban middle school, he finds that his highly pubescent pupils are receiving no sexual education.  Eddie isn’t equipped to teach them – he isn’t “experienced”.  But Eddie goes off lesson plan anyway, into the world of menstrual cycles and contraception, pursuing a new woman, and incurring the wrath of the local Reverend.
