Feature film and advertising editors sit down and talk about their philosophies on editing, what made them want to become editors, and what they see the realm of digital editing becoming.  Join Christopher Murrie A.C.E. (Coraline, ParaNorman), Jon Price (Jimmy Neutron, The Antbully, The Boxtrolls), Kerribeth Elliot (Adrenaline Hunter, Exotic World and the Burlesque Revival), and Chris Willett (who's worked with Marvel, Disney, Warner, Fox Sports and Universal Studios).  


Bryan Sebok

Assistant Professor of Media Studies at Lewis & Clark College
Bryan Sebok is Assistant Professor of Media Studies at Lewis & Clark College. He is the writer and director of Cartography, a feature length documentary on the mobile food movement currently in post-production. Dr. Sebok is also the Media Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Lewis & Clark. His scholarship appears in Cinema Journal, MediaScape, Spectator, and The Velvet Light Trap. 


Kerribeth Elliot

Kerribeth Elliott most recently edited the feature-length documentary The Big Lonely, a survival story of a homeless man living off the land in a remote wilderness area. Kerribeth has been nominated for 3 regional Emmy awards for editing, winning once for her work on the Comcast Sportsnet series Adrenaline Hunter in 2012. Christopher Murrie

Christopher Murrie, A.C.E has been editing award-winning animation since 19999, beginning a Vinton Studios, the predecessor to LAIKA. His credits include Coraline and ParaNorman, as well as many high-profile commercial campaigns for the likes of M&Ms, Toyota, eSure, and many more. His work on Coraline earned a 2009 A.C.E. Eddie nomination for Best Edited Animated Feature Film. 

Jon Price

Jon Price is an award winning commercial, television and film editor. His credits include Nickelodeon’s series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, and feature films The Ant Bully, Unstable Fables: 3 Pigs and a Baby, The Boxtrolls, and the Academy Award nominated film Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius.  

Chris Willett

Chris Willett began making films to avoid publicly speaking in his senior year marine biology class, while attending Central Catholic High School (class of ’02) in SE Portland.
