Cast Iron Studios
Before founding Cast Iron Studios in 1999,
Lana Veenker acted in France, England and Venezuela, lived in India and the West Indies, and helped hire European leads for major studios and networks as part of a London casting office.
Over the past fifteen years, she has grown Portland-based
Cast Iron Studios into one of the top location casting companies in the country by working with directors such as Jean-Marc Vallée, Catherine Hardwicke, Gus Van Sant, Robert Benton, Tim Robbins and Frank Oz.
Billed by
The Hollywood Reporter as “a must-know for an Oregon shoot,” she is now expanding her company’s operations to include a production development division serving the local and regional markets, with an eye to projects geared toward national and international distribution.
